Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions (CFNU)
The Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions initiated partnerships with employers, unions, governments, universities, and professional associations to create the Research to Action project which brought 10 innovative research-based retention and recruitment strategies to life for front-line nurses across the country.
This corporate video highlighted the innovative program to increase retention and recruitment of nurses.
He is cordial, receptive of feedback, and ready to offer advice and solutions. He took it upon himself to ensure that the messaging and quality of the production met our particular needs.
Each of our ten pilot projects was run by its own provincial/territorial steering committee consisting of representatives of employers, unions, governments and others, and thus Steve had the unenviable task of pleasing a variety of interests and requests. I was impressed with Steve’s flexibility and adaptability to the many demands he faced.
I was very pleased with the quality of the videos which were produced at a very reasonable cost.
I can honestly say they went beyond my initial expectations. All of the videos were well received by the steering committees, and they have since been used to spread the lessons of each project. The longer overview video debuted at Research to Action’s closing conference and was met with enthusiastic applause from all participants. Linda Silas
