    Q: 1.3 Please describe the project in general terms.

    We are looking for the primary purpose of the video and your target audience.

    This helps frame the overall estimate and to provide you with suggestions and ideas.

    Q: 1.4 How will the video be used?

    This helps to better understand how you intend to use the video.

    The choices are:

    • Consumer Marketing
    • B2B Marketing
    • Fund Raising
    • Training, or

    Q: 1.5 Do you have a budget?

    We understand you may not know this.  But if you do, it allows us to provide options that become available for different budget levels.

    Neverthless, don’t worry if you don’t have any idea as of yet.

    Q: 1.6 How long is your video?

    There is a direct relationship between the length of a video and the cost.

    Q: 1.7 Do you have a script?

    We love writing scripts but we understand that many clients like to write their own scripts.

    Nevertheless, we like be helpful as possible. 

    We are good at visualizing scripts.

    Q: 1.8 What services do you need?

    Full productions are from concept to final delivery and everything inbetween.

    Animation and motion graphics is story telling through drawn and produced images. They can be traditional animation to more 3D style projects.

    Videography Services only, means just that.  We show up and shoot.  Sometimes it includes editing, sometimes it just handing over the raw footage to the client.

     

    Q: 2.0 What type of footage do you need?

    Custom footage is footage we shoot for you.

    Stockfootage is footage obtained from a stock footage company.  We clear the rights for you. But it requires a budget.

    Many projects mix both stock and custom footage.

    Q: 2.1 What type of graphics do you need?

    Lower thirds usually refers to Titles.

    Basic graphics are graphics and animation that are easy produced and added to a project.

    Advanced motion graphics are inserted into the project and may be motion graphics and animation on their own.

     

     

     

    Q: 2.2 Will you need voice over?

    Many videos can be presented without the use of a narrator.  But when you need one, it is best to budget for it.

    Q: 2.3 Will you need Music?

    Music can be stock, royalty free and commissioned.

    We usually budget for royalty free music from established venders.

    Q: 3.0 Describe the animation you are looking for?

    Please give us an idea of the type of animation or motion graphic styles you are looking for.

    We can provide you the raw footage as shot or edit the material into a finished product.

    Please tell us what we are shooting.  Is it a conference, an interview or part of a bigger project?

    Are there specifications we need to meet or a certain style to keep in mind?

    Will we need to bring lights, teleprompter or specialized audio equipment?
